The Playgroup Experience
Playgroup aims for a fun, stress-free and relaxed time during photo week. We know that the kids enjoy it more as a result and we always try to minimise the impact on daily routine as best we can to keep the staff happy too. We know that it does throw a “spanner in the works” for some, and whilst we empathise, we’ll also go to great lengths to accommodate everyone.
Playgroup Stays In Touch For Every Step.
In the weeks leading up to photo week, we’ll work closely with you and your team to ensure everything is organised and running smoothly.
To simplify administration for your centre, families register directly through the Playgroup Photos online registration page prior to photo week. During registration, parents provide their child’s details, confirm photography consent, and select their preferred photo day.
We will provide your centre with posters and information for families to help raise awareness and encourage timely registration.
Once registrations begin coming through, we coordinate the schedule based on the children attending your centre and the days they are enrolled. This allows us to determine the appropriate number of photography days required and create a clear photo schedule.
Your centre will receive class lists and day-by-day photography schedules to display or distribute, allowing families to know when their child’s photos are scheduled and giving them time to prepare outfits or haircuts if they wish.
Where possible, we will always try to accommodate reasonable requests such as sibling photographs or adjustments for family circumstances, provided these requests are made before photo week and within the available schedule.
Our goal is to make the process simple for centres, organised for families, and enjoyable for the children.
Playgroup Makes Last Minute Changes Easy.
Understandably there will be requests to have children taken on days other than the one they are originally allocated, and we’ll happily accommodate these requests as circumstances arise. Please understand that we may also make a request to have a child’s photos retaken during photo week if we are not completely satisfied for whatever reason with the result, and that we ask for your patience and understanding should we need to make such a request. If this should become necessary, we will inform the child’s room leader and/or carers so that they can properly advise family members. Additionally, we do kindly ask that parents send in their child’s photo clothes for the week in case we encounter any changes that prevent us from photographing someone on their allocated day.
Playgroup Always Take Sibling Photos At No Extra Cost.
We will make every reasonable effort to capture siblings together and we include these in the online galleries and photo packages as a replacement for one or more of the 10 individual poses included in each set. We welcome older or younger siblings brought in to be included in the sibling photo. We will also take cousins who attend the centre together as well as friends upon request and subject to prior notification.
Less Paperwork + Less Headaches = More Smiles
Prior to photo week, we will be in contact with your centre to provide a document that will allow us to reach out to your families electronically. This way, flyers are no longer required to notify parents of photo week and your families are less likely to remain unaware or forget. Playgroup will still provide your centre with a poster containing all the important details, just in case some parents aren’t able to be reached by email.
Playgroup Allows Purchasing Year-Round.
The online store is accessible through each family’s own individual gallery and they can purchase a variety of different photo products which will be shipped directly to the address they provide at check-out. Please be aware however that any print orders made through our online store will incur a $12 flat postage fee. Playgroup Delivers Fast & Friendly
After galleries have gone live, Playgroup will strive to deliver your family’s purchases within 28 business days to the centre. These galleries will remain active to allow everyone the opportunity to purchase seasonal products when they become available.
